Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

The gardens are beautiful and a great place to stroll, with lots of lawns. We saw a lot of the gardens because they were between where we stayed in Woolloomooloo and central Sydney. And we like gardens.

We saw lots of cool plants and birds including kookaburras, ibis, cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, magpies, and other things we don’t know the names of yet.

One of the first birds we saw was an ibis. They’re attractive birds until you see them everywhere, and dumpster diving. We also saw some interesting ducks and other water birds. The cactus garden was interesting and the rock garden was quite modern and unexpected. The Sydney Eye was a little blinded that day.
