Tunnel View on the Wawona Road and Valley View on the El Portal Road are two great places to get views of Yosemite Valley.
The view below is on the Wawona Road outside the tunnel. They were taken on two different days. And with and without people standing right in the middle of things. (He was kind enough to hop down when he realized he was spoiling our shot.)
Tunnel View is breathtaking with or without redbuds. Those were a nice bonus. These were also taken on two different days.
And here’s Valley View, right next to the Merced River, which was running unusually high.
