You can see Yosemite Falls from a number of places in Yosemite Valley. There is one place to get up close and in your face. (Literally)
A loop trail goes from the shuttle stop to the falls and back. We took the long way back to view the lower falls and the shorter way back. The whole trek was beautiful. Lots of little bridges, streams. Wandering in the woods.
Once we got back to the falls themselves, we had to decide whether or not to brave the spray coming off the falls onto the bridge right in front. We did even though Steve’s glasses got really wet. Situations like this are why we have waterproof cameras!
Whichever route you take, don’t forget to look behind you on the way back to the road. You might get a different view. The restrooms are on the shorter leg, if that’s important.
