It's a nice walk from Porthmadog over to Borth-y-Gest and the coves beyond.
The weather that day was moody and allowed us to test out our rain pants.
Once beyond the small village the path follows the coast past small bays you can hike down to.
Part of the walk was on public roads. The initial part out of Porthmadog is steep. Off the road the path is dirt or sand and easy to follow. On our way back we saw pigs beside the road. (Beyond a wall and down the hill.)
