We were in Page for Antelope Canyon but Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell were nice diversions also.
Antelope Canyon was THE reason we came to Page. It’s just as amazing as we thought it would be.
Monument Valley was beautiful, but maybe not worth the price of admission. Or perhaps we just needed more time.
We came to Page for Antelope Canyon. Lake Powell looked like it could be fun if we’d had more time in the area.
The Windows is a nice concentration of arches in a small, easy to get to — and get around — area.
Delicate Arch is THE arch, the one that’s on the Christmas ornament we bought and on just about everything else. You have to go all the way to the end of the trail to see it and it’s worth it.
The Needles is one of two sections of Canyonlands National Park you can reach with a standard vehicle. There’s good hiking on the Slickrock trail and great views.
Islands in the Sky is one of the two sections of Canyonlands National Park accessible with a standard vehicle. It has nice views and good easy hiking options.
We hiked to the Double O Arch and back on the main trail and did all the side trails. Lots of rock fins. It was a technical hike but not really strenuous. Just loooooooong.
