The cathedral was quite impressive and wanted an impressive €50 deposit on the audio guide equipment. So we decided we didn’t need an audio guide that bad. We managed without it. That also means we don’t have much to say about what we saw here other than “that was cool.”
There were as usual a number of impressive gothic features in the cathedral as well as an interesting bit of baroque architecture: a light well into the side of a dome and some incredible carving both around the light well and on the opposite wall that it illuminated. The photo below does not do it justice!
