It was a long drive from Wawona to Mammoth Lakes since the road through Yosemite was closed due to snow, but it was still scenic.
Yosemite is unspeakably beautiful and the valley is not what I was expecting at all.
We didn’t get to see as much of these parks as we wanted. Most roads were closed due to snow and damage. What we did see was beautiful, and we did see giant sequoias.
We stopped at Death Valley because it was more-or-less between Sedona and Sequoia & Kings Canyon. We found it surprisingly beautiful.
We briefly visited Sedona when we went to the Grand Canyon years ago and have wanted to come back and spend more time. It’s just as gorgeous as we remember.

Having spent 6 days on Aruba at the beginning of our trip, we planned to spend our last 3 days at the beach. Period. And that’s what we did.
We loved Curaçao and can see going back to spend even longer. We barely scratched the surface on things to see and do, too. Beautiful beaches, beautiful water.
Bonaire is beautiful and beautifully laid back. Though there’s not much to do if you’re not into scuba diving.
