Plaka

We stayed near Plaka so we could walk there for dinner. It's definitely worth a visit if you stay elsewhere on Milos.

Plaka is a charming — and steep — village of narrow streets and alleys with interesting shops and restaurants.

It’s built on the edge of a cliff so there are dramatic views down to the coast.

The street side of the Church of Panagia Korfiatissa is not terribly interesting. Walk around to the cliffside for pebble mosaics and other interesting details. And a beautiful sunset view.

There are a few places to stay in Plaka though those that we looked at were down the hill from the main village so there’s no escaping the slope.

There are interesting things around every corner.
