The Grand Canyon and Sedona get most of attention (and rightly so) but Oak Creek Canyon is also beautiful, and is conveniently located between the two.
The canyon is greener at the north end. Red rocks start to appear as you head south, closer to Sedona.
The canyon was so pretty we drove through on our way out of Sedona also. We took the photos below at the scenic overlook. The day we were there they had local artisans with items for sale. We bought a Christmas ornament.
