Jerome Day Trip
We’d planned on driving up to Jerome for the day. We found some fish hatcheries on the way there to walk around, for a change in scenery.
Arizona
Bell Rock Pathway
This very easy and scenic hike goes right by some of the famous rock formations near Sedona. We walked there from our hotel in Oak Creek Village.
Oak Creek Canyon
The Grand Canyon and Sedona get most of attention (and rightly so) but Oak Creek Canyon is also beautiful, and is conveniently located between the two.
Sedona
We briefly visited Sedona when we went to the Grand Canyon years ago and have wanted to come back and spend more time. It’s just as gorgeous as we remember.
Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell
We were in Page for Antelope Canyon but Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell were nice diversions also.
Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon was THE reason we came to Page. It’s just as amazing as we thought it would be.
Monument Valley
Monument Valley was beautiful, but maybe not worth the price of admission. Or perhaps we just needed more time.
Page
We came to Page for Antelope Canyon. Lake Powell looked like it could be fun if we’d had more time in the area.
