Diamond Falls

The falls and surrounding gardens are pretty and serene. Well worth the walk from Soufrière.

Other than the heat and humidity, it’s an easy walk to Diamond Falls and there’s some nice scenery on the way. It’s also easy to get around the gardens themselves. There’s one main path.

The tropical plants are colorful, both flowers and foliage.

There are seating areas scattered around. The gardens also have mineral baths you can use for an additional fee. We did not. They did not look inviting. The path roughly parallels a stream.

The climax of the gardens is Diamond Falls themselves. They’re at the back of the gardens. It’s not a long or difficult walk to them. We were actually alone when we got there, a first for us at a waterfall!

Here are some more of the lovely plants and flowers we saw. And a bonus fungus.
