Santorini is a unique place worth visiting. I don’t care how touristy it is. The caldera is beautiful from the water and Perissa is our favorite beach town. This time we spent seven nights.
Hike from Fira to Oia
It was hot, tiring, and sometimes it was hard to find the trail in the villages. But gorgeous views all along the 10k walk. Be prepared for little shade.

Santorini is justifiably famous for its cliffs on the caldera but there’s more to the island. We loved our three nights in Perissa and didn’t feel like we missed out staying on that side of the island. In fact, we’re about to go back for our third visit.
