Walk Loughrigg Fell
At this point we felt ready to tackle a walk with some elevation. Loughrigg Fell worked nicely and offered new types of scenery.
Ambleside
Walk around Grasmere
The walk around Grasmere was both easy and gorgeous. We started and ended in the village, giving us an opportunity to check out the village too.
Walk to Rydal Water
This walk is called the Under Loughrigg path and one person described it as good for someone recovering from a heart attack, a massive hangover, or the loss of a leg. That sounded about our speed.
Ambleside
Ambleside was a pleasant introduction four night introduction to the Lake District, with good bus connections and walks available without taking a bus.
