The train ride was scenic. We got off at Llanwrst intending to take a walk and failed to find the walk we were looking for.

There’s not much left of the castle except the stones but you can walk around inside and up into the towers and around the castle walls.
Conwy
Conwy is a compact little town with a castle looming over it, a good selection of restaurants, and pretty scenery around. It was a relaxing and interesting three nights to start to our trip.
