This very easy and scenic hike goes right by some of the famous rock formations near Sedona. We walked there from our hotel in Oak Creek Village.
We thought about doing the Court House loop, which begins and ends at this pathway, but decided not to push ourselves that far our first day out.
The trail was easy with no steep spots and good footing throughout. Well marked too. There is a network of trails in the area and we saw signs at each intersection with maps at many.
It was a beautiful hike with lots of wildflowers to add to the red rock scenery.
It was about 66° and partly cloudy. There were lots of people on the trail but it was not at all crowded. We wore shorts for the hike but switched to long pants later.
